Will first connected with Futures at the Mansfield Jobs Fair in January, where he signed up for the Skills to Success programme. What began as a casual visit turned into a transformative experience.
Will was battling self-doubt and struggling to see the value in his past experiences. With support from Futures, he found clarity, confidence, and a new career path.
After losing his job in London, Will found it difficult to move forward. He was highly self-critical, often comparing himself to more “successful” friends, and lacked motivation. Despite having studied in the USA and gained valuable experience, he couldn’t see his own worth or how to leverage his skills.

A breakthrough moment came during interview prep, where Tom helped to reframe Will’s experiences to highlight his transferable skills. This shift in perspective helped Will see his value and potential more clearly.

With Tom's support, Will applied for a Project Coordinator Administrator role - an ideal fit that offered ground-level entry with upskilling opportunities - and was offered the job the same day.
Will secured a role that aligned perfectly with his goals and skillset. More importantly, he regained confidence in himself and his future.
