We're looking for a passionate and motivated Careers Adviser to join our City NEET Team, supporting young people who face significant barriers to education, training and employment.
This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to help young people build confidence, raise aspirations and move towards positive futures.
What you'll be doing:
✅ Providing high-quality careers information, advice and guidance
✅ Supporting young people with SEND, mental health needs, care experience and other complex barriers
✅ Working with schools, alternative provision settings, Youth Justice Services and partner organisations
✅ Helping young people progress into education, employment and training
✅ Delivering careers guidance in schools across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
About you:
✔ Hold a Level 4 Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification (or equivalent), where possible
✔ Be willing to work towards a Level 6 Career Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) qualification if not already qualified
✔ Have a genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
✔ Be an excellent communicator who can build positive relationships and inspire confidence
