Are you an experienced employer engagement, recruitment or business development professional who thrives on building meaningful partnerships?
At Futures, we're looking for a Strategic Employer Development Lead to develop employer relationships that create real opportunities for people facing barriers to employment. You'll work with employers across a range of sectors, helping to shape recruitment pathways, influence workforce planning and drive social impact through sustainable employment opportunities.
What you'll be doing
🤝 Building and managing strategic employer partnerships
📈 Developing an employer engagement strategy aligned to contract and organisational goals
💼 Creating pathways into employment, work placements, apprenticeships and work trials
🌍 Championing inclusive recruitment and helping employers remove barriers to employment
📊 Using labour market intelligence to identify opportunities and inform programme design
🎤 Representing Futures across business, employer and stakeholder networks
We're looking for someone who has:
✅ Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, employability or business development
✅ Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
✅ Commercial awareness, negotiation and influencing skills
✅ Knowledge of employability, skills or welfare-to-work programmes
✅ A genuine passion for social mobility and improving employment outcomes for disadvantaged communities
